Before Your Appointment

Do I need a patch test?

A patch test is available before any service if you’d like one, and is required for lash lift and brow lamination at least 24 hours before your appointment. The patch test is free and takes less than 5 minutes.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Arrive with clean lashes, free of mascara, eye makeup, and oily products. Please remove contact lenses before we start. If you don’t have a case, we’ll provide one. Avoid caffeine if you’re prone to eye twitching.

I’ve never had lash extensions. What should I book?

Most first-timers start with a Classic Full Set for a subtle, natural look. If you’re unsure, don’t worry. Every appointment includes a consultation where we’ll help you choose. Read our First-Time Guide for more details.

What’s the difference between classic, hybrid, and volume?

Classic applies one extension per natural lash for a clean, defined look. Hybrid mixes classic and volume fans for more texture. Volume uses fans of ultra-fine lashes for soft fullness. Each option has a dedicated service page with full details.

During Your Appointment

Does it hurt?

Not at all. Your eyes are closed throughout the treatment, and the application is completely painless. Most clients find it so relaxing they fall asleep.

How long does the appointment take?

Appointment time depends on the service booked. Classic Full Set is around 1 hour 30 minutes, Hybrid around 1 hour 45 minutes, Volume around 2 hours, Lash Lift and Tint around 1 hour, and infills usually take 1 to 1.5 hours. Every booking includes time for a consultation.

Can I choose the length and curl?

Absolutely. During the consultation, we’ll discuss the length, curl, and thickness that will suit your eye shape and the look you want. We always recommend what will look most natural and keep your lashes healthy.

Aftercare & Maintenance

How long do lash extensions last?

A full set lasts 2–3 weeks before you’ll need an infill. With good aftercare, some clients stretch to 4 weeks. Your natural lash growth cycle determines how quickly they shed.

How do I look after my lash extensions?

Lash extensions can get wet straight away. We use UV-cured adhesive that bonds instantly, so no need to keep them dry. Clean them daily with the lash shampoo provided in your aftercare kit. Avoid oil-based products around your eyes, don’t rub them, and brush gently with the spoolie we give you.

Can I wear mascara with extensions?

You won’t need to, that’s the point. But if you want extra drama for an event, use a water-based mascara on the tips only. Never use waterproof mascara with extensions.

How often do I need infills?

We recommend every 2–3 weeks. If you wait longer than 4 weeks, you may need a full new set rather than an infill. More about infills.

Safety & Lash Health

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Lash extensions should not damage your natural lashes when they are correctly isolated, weighted and mapped to your natural lash strength. Damage usually happens when extensions are too heavy, stuck together, pulled off, or worn without proper infill/removal.

Are the products safe?

Yes. We use professional-grade, UV-cured adhesive and high-quality synthetic lash fibres. All products are tested and safe for use around the eyes. If you have sensitive eyes or allergies, a patch test will confirm suitability.

Can I get extensions if I have sensitive eyes?

Most clients with sensitive eyes are fine. A patch test is available if you’d like to confirm suitability before your appointment. During the treatment, your eyes are closed the entire time and we work carefully to avoid any irritation.
