Meet Mara, Your Lash Artist in Chiswick
Hi, I’m Mara, the founder of Balanced Beauty London. I fell in love with eyelash extensions when I experienced them for myself and realised how good it felt to wake up feeling beautiful and ready to go, without mascara or heavy makeup.
My first lash artist created natural, lightweight sets that enhanced my eyes without overwhelming them, and that experience inspired me to follow the same path.
Today, I specialise in natural-looking lash extensions in Chiswick, creating lightweight, bespoke sets that prioritise the health of your natural lashes. My “less is more” approach means every set is tailored carefully to your features, so the result feels effortless, balanced, and still like you.

Your natural lashes are the foundation. I use lightweight extensions, professional UV-cured adhesive, and proper isolation to make sure your lashes stay healthy throughout the wear cycle and beyond.
Ongoing learning
I completed an intensive course in Romania and earned five additional certifications in the UK. The industry evolves, and so do I. I’m always training, reading, and refining my technique.

Weight, mapped to you
Length and diameter are matched to the strength of each natural lash. Heavier extensions on finer lashes are how damage starts — so I size every fan to what your lashes can carry.
One-to-one isolation
Each extension sits on a single, isolated natural lash. No sticking, no bunching, so your natural lashes can shed and grow on their own cycle without being pulled.
Professional adhesive only
UV-cured, professional-grade adhesive used in small, controlled amounts. Properly cured bonds are what hold without irritation and lift cleanly at infill or removal.
Infill or remove — never pull
Lashes are designed to be maintained at 2–3 weeks or removed professionally. Pulling extensions off is the most common cause of natural-lash damage.
Patch test on request
If you have sensitive eyes or a history of reactions, a patch test is available before your appointment.
Honest assessment
If your natural lashes need a break before a fresh set, I will tell you. Lash health comes before any single appointment.
